Y además, muy válida, por los comentarios que se leen.

Con sus 4,54 metros, iguala y/o supera a los mas grandes ya existentes en el segmento (como Gran Scénic, Zafira, Mazda 5 ...), por lo que a la Scénic, Corolla Verso ... las supera.

El precio parte de los 21.000 y poco €, para la versión más bajita en equipamiento, pero equipada con el 2.0 CRDi de 140 CV. Las dos versiones más equipadas de este motor no superan los 24.000 €, equipadas una con el mismo motor 2.0 CRDi, y la otra con el 2.0 gasolina de 142 CV (aquí es probable que la eterna lucha gasolina/diesel se decante por el diesel

)

Según versiones hay algunas lagunas de equipamiento, pero igual la más significativa es la ausencia del Xenon, incluso como opción.

el coche esta de putisima madre, pero habra que esperar a las promociones. como hemos dicho en otros hilos, no es normal que te saques el magentis EXII con navegador por 22.000 euros y el carens sin navegador por 25000. Sin promociones es carisimo, si es verdad que trae muchas cosas el EXII como aientos electricos x ejemplo, pero son cosas que mucha gente no necesita pero para poder tener TCS por ejemplo tienes que pagarlo.

Just as parent firm Hyundai is giving the Accent a new lease of life, Kia has also thoroughly redesigned the Carens. Auto Express has already driven the compact MPV in Issue 912, but how does the newcomer measure up next to the class-leading Vauxhall Zafira and Renault Scenic in European trim?

With its soft suspension, the new Carens is much smoother to drive than the old model, although it still struggles over potholes

There’s no doubt Kia’s designers have done a fine job. The raked windscreen is sleeker than before, and the big grille and high-set foglights look smart. The rear is bold as well, while integrated roof rails are a neat touch.
But it’s inside where the Carens makes the biggest leap. The dashboard of our seven-seater is stylish, and although the plastics aren’t soft-touch, they are of a good quality with attractive colour schemes. The high-set seats could do with firmer padding, yet they are comfortable. What’s more, the middle row is extremely roomy, and there’s also good space in the third row. However, with seven people on board, the boot is tiny, and only the cheaper five-seat versions get a luggage cover.
Buyers can choose from a pair of 2.0-litre engines. The 144bhp petrol is refined at low revs, but needs working hard. That means the more economical 140bhp diesel is the pick of the range, even though it lacks some refinement.
With its soft suspension, the new Carens is much smoother to drive than the old model, although it still struggles over potholes. Prices have yet to be announced, but generous standard kit is sure to make the Kia top value.

FIRST OPINION

Now much more attractive than its awkward-looking predecessor, the all-new Carens can compete with its European rivals on a level playing field. In terms of dynamics, the Kia still trails behind the best in the class, but the generously equipped, high-quality interior is appealing. And by offering seven seats to buyers on a tight budget, the new car is certain to be a showroom hit.
