Wayne M Gardner Another great pic of my GP history , 1983 was my first GP at the Dutch race riding the Honda RS500 triples cylinder Bike. This GP bike by Honda was revolutionary with a dry weight of only 115kgs , 165 Hp at 13,500 Rpm and built very compact and small and was like riding a 250cc bike which made this bike very agile and suited to smaller race tracks. There was many options to change the bikes handling with different Offsets , fork angles , different swing arm lengths , different gearbox ratios / 6 ratios on every gear plus final drive changes with sprockets to achieve the perfect gear for every corner with a top speed of 345kph  In these days we only used steel brakes but now the MotoGP bikes use carbon fibre discs and pads today for stronger performance with top speeds of 365kph  The body work is carbon fibre , the wheels and engine cases are magnesium to keep the weight to a minimum which helped the performance))) This GP Honda was the best bike in the early 80s with Freddie Spencer winning the World Championship for Honda  Ahhhhh the good old days of the 80/90s GP racing when Men had balls of steel and the GP bikes where scary

Saludos!..  En las 24 horas de Montjuïc participaron pilotos y equipos de toda Europa. Uno de ellos fue el de Norman White (foto) y Neil Tuxworth, del Mead & Tomkinson Racing Team. En 1976 llegaron a BCN con este prototipo, una pieza única llamada “Nessie”, con la que quedaron 10º..
